Bericht von Alexej Fjodorow, einem Bewohner der Krim

fnws's avatarEuromaidan PR

Dmitry Tymchuk: On the Question of “YUZHMASH” Technology

Dmitry Tymchuk, Information Resistance

Translated and edited by Voices of Ukraine

Screen Shot 2014-04-09 at 9.44.15 PMThe intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) R-36M2 (index 15A18M, classified by NATO as SS-18 Satan) has been developed by the State Enteprise “Design Office ‘Yuzhnoye,'” manufactured by State Enterprise “Yuzhnyi Machine-building plant” (“YUZHMASH”) and has been in service with the Strategic Missile Forces [SMF] of the USSR since 1988.

At the present moment, this is the most dangerous weapon at the SMF of Russia. Other ICBMs in service in Russia are significantly inferior to Satan in their specs.

At the moment, the state of the rocket and space industry in Russia doesn’t allow for the creation of an ICBM that is close to [Satan’s] characteristics independently, withouth the involvement of Ukraine.

From 2003 to 2012, “YUZHMASH” was commissioned by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation under the state contract for design supervision, and worked to extend the service life of 15A18M missiles as well as 15P118M complex within the Russian Strategic Missile Forces for up to 25 years. The State Enteprise, “Design Office ‘Yuzhnoye’, ” annually provides conclusions regarding the service life of 15A18M products and 15P118M complexes.

In 2013, the Russian side signed the addendum to the abovementioned contract regarding the extension of the service life of 15А18М missiles and 15P118M complexes for up to 30 years – until 12.25.2017.

Discontinuation of Russian relations with their Ukrainian counterpart allows “YUZHMASH” to seek partners for mutually beneficial cooperation in other countries. Moreover, with the annexation of Crimea and the Russian destruction of the entire system of international law and guarantees in the security sector, the inevitable question about the feasibility of fulfillment of the MTCR regime requirements (Mode of the Missile Technology Control) by the Ukrainian side arises.

At the same time, the task to complete the work on the extension of the service life of 15A18M products and 15P118M complexes takes on a particular urgency for Russia.

Putin’s trap

Before the advent of Putin in the Kremlin, we could not have suspected that:

– In Ukraine, there are irreconcilable historical, cultural and religious contradictions between the western and eastern regions;

– Ukrainian nationalists threaten the rights and lives of the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine;

– “Banderites,” backed by the West, are attempting to split Ukraine or break it off from Russia, thus tearing apart “the historic connection between the two brotherly peoples;”

– There is a southeastern Ukraine that dreams of becoming the New Russia [Novorussia] and uniting with Russia.

Obviously, the Kremin fails to notice the fact that as a result of “Banderite” and nationalist acitivities in Ukraine, the number of Russian-speaking people in the population has practically remained the same. But, for over ten years, the Kremlin propaganda has been imposing destructive thoughts about “language infringement,” “federalization,” “Banderites,” etc. on a daily basis.

Fiasco in the East?

As reported by Delta section earlier, the conflict with Russia is now entering the political phase, which, however, might transform into a military one at any moment.

By failing to provoke an armed conflict with Ukraine in Crimea, Russia is currently trying to impose its terms on us and the international community, from the perspective of the winner in the war, which hasn’t actually happened, namely: federalization, securing non-aligned [NATO] status, and the Russian language.

Pathetic attempts by a separatist gang to organize the semblance of “people’s government” in eastern Ukraine were supposed to become [Russia’s] additional argument. To do this, the Kremlin even engaged all of their agents, used to create the image of “people’s discontent.” The “Kremlin hawks” intended to demonstrate this image at upcoming international negotations on Ukraine, proving the necessity of federalization reform. But the West has already replied, “WE DON’T BELIEVE THIS! ”

Carthage must be destroyed

Despite this, the Russian Foreign Ministry continues to demonstrate their rapid loss of touch with reality, that was previously achieved so successfully by Putin. Thus, during negotiations with American, European, and even African politicians, Russian Foreign Minister [Sergey] Lavrov and his aides continue to repeat, with the persistence of religious fanatics, the need for “implement the agreements of February 21,” “bringing the eastern and southern Ukraine into international negotiations,” “holding federalization reform,” “resolving the Ukrainian domestic crisis.”

All these phrases are being repeated practically every day for the past month in different interpretations, but with a single purpose – no one should doubt the necessity of the territorial, political, and cultural division of Ukraine.

What did the Russian Foreign Ministry so aggressively insist on, and has it really lost touch with reality?

The agreement of February 21, 2014

The agreement to settle the politicial crisis [in Ukraine] was signed on February 21 by [former Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych and opposition leaders [Vitaly] Klitschko, [Arseniy] Yatsenyuk, and [Oleh] Tyahnybok. Foreign Ministers of Germany and Poland – [Frank-Walter] Steinmeier and [Radoslav] Sikorski, as well as the Director at the Continental Europe Department of the French Foreign Ministry [Eric] Fournier, witnessed the signing [of the agreement].

Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation, [Vladimir] Lukin, who participated in negotiations, has refused to put his signature under the agreement. The agreement specified the return to the 2004 Constitution, holding Presidential elections no later than December of 2014, as well as investigation into the acts of violence in Ukraine.

As you can see, by insisting on the return of the agreement of February 21, Russia forgets that it has no right to do so, due to Lukin’s refusal to put his signature under the agreement.

In addition, if Russia really wants to return to the February 21 agreement, it will be necessary to bring Crimea and [Viktor] Yanukovych back to Ukraine – for substantive conversation.

Involvement of the south and east of Ukraine in international negotiations

The Russian Foreign Ministry has been trying in every possible way to bring representatives of southeastern regions of Ukraine to some international negotiations, without noticing one important detail – the U.S. and the EU do not consider Russian agents who mimic popular rebellion and disagreement with Kyivan “Nazis,” the [people’s] “representatives.”

Around 500 Russian agents and 1,500 “fellow countrymen” recruited by them do not represent the south and the east of Ukraine yet. In the near future, their only fate would be to become the representatives of correctional labor colonies, that makes their participation in negotiations doubtful.

If “serious crisis” is truly prevalent in Ukraine, then not just southeastern, but all Ukrainian oblasts [regions] should be involved in negotiations.

However, the Russian Foreign Ministry does not even attempt to make their statement look minimally objective, and instead inflates its real plans regarding Ukraine. At the same time, the Moscow diplomats are openly blackmailing Kyiv officials by announcing that “it is impossible to calm the situation down, if Ukrainian authorities continue to ignore the interests of the southeastern part of Ukraine.”

Federalization reform

According to Russian diplomats, conducting federalization reform should protect the interests of all the regions of our country, strengthen the role of the Russian language and stabilize the situation in Ukraine. Moskovia’s concern for “all” the regions of our country is touching, since, as we have seen above, Putin is only interested in the southeast of Ukraine, since he continues to believe that Russian speakers automatically admire Putin.

The true goals of consitutional reform in our country have been uncovered by a representative of the Insitute of CIS countries [Konstantin] Zatulin in December of 2013, who openly announced that the federalization of Ukraine is necessary for Russia’s blockade of our possible accession to NATO. Here is one of the main goals Russia must achieve through federalization reform. And there is no love or concern for their compatriots.

The second goal – is to save “Russian world” from the “Islamic world” at the expense of Ukraine – since the “Russian” villages and cities are dying out, while Chechnya and Dagestan keep multiplying.

But in general, accepting the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine under Russian gunpoint is not very kosher.

Settlement of Ukrainian domestic crisis

It is important to remind Mr. Lavrov that there is no “domestic crisis in Ukraine,” and instead there is an annexation of Crimea by Russian occupiers, as well as the threat of the military intrusion by Russian troops into the territory of Ukraine. Because of this, Russia’s participation in any “settlement” of a non-existent “domestic crisis in Ukraine” is unacceptable and impossible.

This is why the Ukrainan leadership should press for Russia’s exclusion from any negotiations regarding Ukraine, as a party interested in the territorial split of our country and the annexation of its territories.

But also, the party that completely lost its touch with reality, as well as the party that offers/pushes for some ridiculous suggestions and lives in its own fantasy world along with “Banderites,” “New Russia,” “Great Russia,” and the “Russian world,” which, unfortunately, is rapidly dying out.

How to protect Ukraine from Putin

To ensure the national security, territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine, we find it necessary to greatly limit Putin’s impact on Ukraine.

To this end, we call on Ukrainian leadership to initiate four-party talks U.S.-EU-Ukraine-Russia with a goal to come to a decision regarding the constitutional reform in Russia that will include the following:

1. Creation of a new federation subject on the territory of western oblasts of Russia – the Western Ukrainian Autonomous District (with Belgorod as its capital) with broad economic, cultural, and political rights, dual citizens, as well as the fixed non-aligned status.

2. Withdrawal of the Russian Black Sea Fleet from Crimea, the establishment of a demilitarized zone there, and the return of the peninsula under the jurisdiction of Ukraine.

Only then, the Ukrainian leadership would make significant concessions to Russia, by signing the memorandum on the non-aligned status of Ukraine.

Dmitry Tymchuk’s Military Blog: Summary – April 9, 2014

Dmitry Tymchuk, Information Resistance

"Information Resistance"

“Information Resistance”

Brothers and sisters,

Here’s the summary for April 9 (for the summary from previous day, see Summary of April 8).

The bad news:

1. Starting tomorrow, a revitalizing new wave of separatist movements gets underway. Their main goal is to bring the separatist sabbath to its apotheosis by May 9, 2014.

They are just following the scenario. The current work of Ukrainian law enforcement and intelligence agencies casts serious doubt on the implementation of these iridescent plans by Moscow’s bootlickers.

Concessions by the occupiers of administrative buildings, e.g. in Luhansk (I mean the release of hostages) – is their understanding that the ball is in the Ukrainian law enforcement’s court. Let’s hope it won’t get to the other side of the court.

2. The Communist Party of Ukraine [CPU] has showed its true face, after the Party of Regions.

Thus, Petro Symonenko, the leader of the CPU, announced that there were no separatists and terrorists in the east, and that his party supports the demands issued by the insurgents.

We completely agree with Mr. Symonenko regarding the separatists. There are no separatists in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv. Since these gentlemen are trying to secede from Ukraine not to build their independence, but to join Russia, this is not separatism. That is pure collaborationism. That is, betrayal and treason.

It turns out that Symomenko happily announces his support for collaborationism. He and his party support the betrayal with every fiber of their being. Well, I’m glad they dotted their “i’s” on that one.

The good news:

1. In the past 24 hours, the Security Service of Ukraine [SBU] has detained numerous pro-Russian terrorists and Russian saboteurs in the east and south of Ukraine.

All of this is the final and decisive phase of the disruption of the Kremlin’s scenario to prepare ground for the Russian invasion, which has been under way for the past three days.

Every such arrest is a missing bayonet in the Ukrainian legion of the Kremlin. And when it comes to organizers (as in the case of the detenion of the Kherson oblast resident who had amassed a group to seize the Khakhovka water power plant) – this is a powerful blow to Moscow’s entire subversion network in Ukraine.

2. The former Party of Regions member and current Presidential candidate Oleh Tsaryov has tried to pay a visit to separatists injured in clashes in the city of Mykolayiv.

Tsaryov showed up at the hospital wearing the St. George’s ribbon. For that, he was called a “Russian Fascist” and got banged up. Not a whole lot, but the candidate’s face was slightly readjusted.

I am a humanist. I am absolutely against violence. And I put this piece of news under the good category only because I am confident: this unfortunate incident with Tsaryov will force our Presidential candidate to pay attention to the problems with medical care in Mykolayiv.

3. The majority of Donetsk residents – 65.7% want to live in a united Ukraine. Only 18.2% of the residents intend to get stuck with Russian and become the loyal subjects of Putin.

This is evidenced by the results of the social poll conducted by the Institute for Social Research and Political Analysis, which was initiated by the Coalition of public organizations of Donetsk.

There is no comment. If the number of “Putin’s fans” is so low in the separatist nest of Donetsk, then what does this say about other Ukrainian cities? Only a very stupid or a very sneaky and hypocritical person can tell fables that our East is seeking in unison to become part of the Russian Federation.

I wanted to put off this post until tomorrow, but I was so churned up inside. I was in torment the whole evening, I could not bring myself to write about people’s suffering. About a calamity.

Everyone knows that on Sunday night in Crimea they killed one of our officers [Major Stanislav V. Karachevskyy]. And about the wife and two children. To be honest, I read it, winced and then carried on doing my business, I tried not to think about it too much. That was my emotional defence. Not to think about the wife or children. About the terrible happenings in Crimea now.

But today I got the message to help. This is not about self defence, I have to help.
I talked with a girl who was helping the family. I spoke with an officer from the unit. I talked with his sister. Silent and sad voices, without emotion, they were depressed voices. I talked for a long time. About a lot of things.

Friends. They need help. In a lot of different ways. Not just money.

In order:

1) They have not given Stas’ body. I don’t know how subhuman this scum can be in this situation, these animals are drunk on their temporary omnipotence. But they haven’t released the body. And we cannot do anything about it. There is hope that they will give it back tomorrow.

2) There may be problems with frontier guards, the Berkut or someone is there with them. After they “shook up” some students from Sebastopol for three hours I am not surprised. Does someone know how to organize (for money or however) a “green” corridor on the way?

3) They are bringing him to Berdyansk and will bury him there. The family needs help. The sister of course tried to say that they can manage themselves… but we all know everything, right? And we can help them. Card details 5167987201010671 (Private), Каtеrina Vladimirovna Karachevskaya (Porfilova). I transferred 5000 hryvnas from our fund, I hope I’ll be forgiven my “improper” payment.

4) Besides money there is a hitch with the funeral. The family is asking for a place for him in the cemetery. There is a place next to his father, but they are asking to look at the possibility of burying him in the path of heroes. I am not completely sure of the right term for the cemetery of the city of Berdyansk, forgive me if I have gotten something wrong. The City Military Commissioner will write a letter to the Mayor. He will write a request. They did not ask for any bribes, they said they would ask, but they are not promising anything. Is there anyone in Bredyansk who can try to help? I shall try to talk to be people in Kyiv. Can this issue be decided on a local level?

5) The widow and children will be 10-14 days in Berdyansk, then she will go to Nikolaev. On Saturday I will be meeting with the heads of the 10th Sakski Naval Aviation Brigade, they will take care of Olha and her children as best they can. And with our help.

It’s a small world. I was planning to meet with Lieutenant Chernenko who saved our naval aviation from the “green men.” Now there are several reasons to meet. Pity.
