On Independence Square participants of Euromaidan and opposition leaders decided to withdraw from negotiations with the government and the expansion of the Square to Olhinsky Street.

After the vote, this general decision was announced by Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Oleh Tyahnybok [two opposition party leaders].

Communicating with Euromaidan, Tyahnybok retold what steps the authorities are ready to take if protesters go to a truce.

Accordingly, if you do not agree reprisals from the authorities continue. Which decision are we adopting? “- Tyahnybok asked those present on Maidan and asked them to vote.

Maidan voted to withdraw from the negotiation process, “everyone takes on themselves the responsibility for being active in the fight, but our brothers remain in custody.”

“We are going to further the fight, but only provided that it is disciplined, follows orders and a united army” – Tyahnybok set the conditions, to which Maidan also agreed.

In turn, the leader of the Batkivshchyna Party, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, declared Hrushevskoho Square to be a territory of Maidan.

“I am writing to Andrew Parubiya to expand the territory of Maidan along square on the street Instytutska to Olzhycha (meaning Olhynska St. near the Khreschatyk metro station),” – said Yatsenyuk.

Together with this Yatseniuk called Maidan to discipline.

“No one makes any steps except those that are agreed upon. We are continuing further talks so as to get to a realistic result, and not so that they can make promises and not fulfill them”, said Yatsenyuk.

“I’m appealing to each of you: this is an exclusively peaceful protest. Let’s

hold our defenses, and not take a step back. Discipline, order and responsibility” – called Yatsenyuk.
