Fully aware of the complexity of the situation, through sheer willpower during the past week we have refrained from criticizing the inaction of the leadership of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, expecting them to begin resolving the situation in Crimea.

However, the time has passed and we see no indication of the fact that someone from higher management decided to take responsibility. Whereas any hour of delay for our troops in Crimea is another blow below the belt. And all of this is happening against the huge support and concern for our Ukrainian military from the people of Ukraine, ordinary Ukrainian citizens.

Moreover, we are closely monitoring the dealings of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of Ukraine. And we see a very disturbing picture. Instead of trying to save our troops (in reality, rather than on paper), we observe that the military leadership is focused on solving other problems of a much more private nature. The very processes that can positively influence the fate of our Crimean brothers are happening criminally slow.

As of today, March 9, 2014 the most alarming situation exists in Yevpatoria. The personnel of our unit have received an ultimatum from the invaders, but do not intend to lay down their weapons and will stand until the end. The ultimatum is valid until 20:00 local time [18:00 GMT], after which the opponent intends to use violent force. [Ukrainian military] cannot rely on the high command in Kyiv – in all places of units and divisions of Armed Forces of Ukraine with dislocations in Crimea.

This is unacceptable. We are waiting for an IMMEDIATE response from the military and political appointees, as well as the military leadership.

A word of warning. In the event of further inaction, we will begin to cover the situation that has developed today at the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and reveal to the public the outrageous happenings rampant in these structures today. Ukrainians have a right to know why Ukraine betrays its Army and Navy.

We would like to announce that we have prepared the official statement of the Information Resistance that will be made at a later time.
