8:30 – Increased Deployment of Russian Troops

Report of Information Resistance
Deployment of Russian troops into Crimea became more active. Over the last few hours, 430 Russian soldiers and approximately 20 pieces of military equipment were transported on the ferry across the Kerch strait.

By sea, landing ships delivered an additional 300 servicemen and up to 10 pieces of military equipment.

Important detail! According to the reports of our emissaries, Russian personnel arriving on the ships of the Baltic Fleet through the Mediterranean Sea were highly surprised to find themselves in Crimea. Soldiers and officers had not been informed of the destination of their deployment.

According to the Russian staff documents, the deployment is being carried out in the course of rotating the Russian contingent in Crimea. However, we are not registering departure of similar numbers of troops from the peninsula. We continue monitoring the situation.

11:30 – Large Russian Military Convoy En Route to Simferopol

Report of Information Resistance
Today, in Feodosiya, immediately after today’s peaceful rally by the locals against occupation and in support the unity of Ukraine, a large Russian military convoy passed through the city.

During the demonstration, the convoy was stationed outside Primorskiy village. 87 vehicles left the training field “Chauda” and headed towards Simferopol.

In some of the pictures below, the military vehicles have no plates, but Russian license plates are clearly visible on their road police escort.

The Chauda field is currently the transit post organized by Russian troops. Previously, 20 vehicles arrived to Chauda from Kerch area. It’s reported that a landing ship of the Russian Navy disembarked in the same area during the night.

Last night, a Russian military convoy of 200 vehicles was noted in Taman (Russia). The license plates identified them as being from Region 95 (Chechnya). The convoy moved towards the port of Crimea (Kerch).

This may be the same vast military convoy that was spotted on Krasnodask – Novorossiysk highway (Russia) yesterday (not confirmed) – VIDEO:

17:00 – Block Posts and Minefields

Yuliya Smirnova, Eyewitness Report
Bad news. [Ukrainians] spent all day setting up block posts in Kalanchak, but ran out of time to do the same in Chaplynka. Russian tanks are already in people’s fields, there are mines and “minefield” signs.

People shout [at Russian soldiers], telling them to go away, and Putin’s lapdogs shove guns in their faces in return. Everyone understands that Putin’s deranged, and a war is a real possibility. A family friend, a Crimean Tatar, is preparing for war. Armyansk is full of Russian troops and remains blocked.

My family tells me that Kalanchak is well-fortified by Ukrainians. But the whole thing smells bad.

Voices of Ukraine have previously reported that a minefield has been set up between Crimea and mainland Ukraine.
