Former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykola Azarov ordered the Minister of Defense Pavel Lebedev, under the authority of the Ministry of Internal affairs, two divisions of army paratroopers to join internal forces.
Due to the information, released by former-minister of Defence MP Anatoliy Grytsenko, Azarov set a target for Lebedev to authorize two divisions of Internal Forces- 95th airborne division (Zhytomyr) and 25th Dnipropetrovsk airborne division.
Lebedev has already started preparation of the directive for distribution, but instead of the Zhytomyr team he decided to transfer the 79th separate air mobiles division (Mykolaiv).
It is known, that the Dnipropetrovsk division is prepared for actions and is equipped with appropriate weapons.
The 79th division participated in a number of peacekeeping operations in former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Slovenia, Montenegro), Sierra Leone, Iraq and Liberia. [click on images to enlarge]
