My answer to a girlfriend in Russia, which is very worrying for me and for all of us: Thank you, dear … At the Meeting it was very crowded and not scary, terribly creative!!  🙂 ) But the events on Hrushevskoho that evening – I do not approve, but it’s part of people’s will. And our government – is a gang, what they want to do in Ukraine is not even a second Belarus, but much worse. They wanted us to arrange a 37th year – we got a 17th! Ukrainians – the descendants of Cossacks (me too), of Kholodnoyartsi [Cold Ravine], Haidamaks, UPA, Bandera, Borispoltsev, Makhno and other heroes. We woke up in our genes!
Do not worry, we have to understand what our anthem is, it’s not just words …

Just released from Darnytske division station, Radio “Liberty” journalist, Igor Iskhakov. As you can see, the results of “investigation,” as the saying goes, are written “on the face.”

These injuries were received while in detention on Hrushevskoho. He was delayed in the middle of broad daylight with others, including minors. For 5 hours he was detained in a paddy, afterwards it’s unclear why they brought him to the Darnytske police department.

We are now awaiting the release of a second journalist. He was also beaten.

Protesters at Hrushevskoho Street came very close to the “Berkut” cordon

January 20, 2014 | 16:43

Protesters at Hrushevskogo Street have approached the cordon of Berkut Special Forces by Mariinsky Park in Kiev.

According to the correspondent of Podrobnosti, a Ukrainian news website, crowds of people descended on Mariinsky Park and began throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at police officers. In response, policemen began throwing stun grenades more intensely.

Subsequently, several attackers ran back off. However, some protesters remained outside the barricades installed in front of the riot police.

At the time of writing one bus was still burning near the entrance to FC Dynamo Kiev’s stadium. The smell of tear gas is still in the air. But the crowd isn’t dispersing.

As it was reported earlier the protesters in the Hrushevskoho Street are building barricades.  Since the morning confrontation near the Dynamo stadium protesters and police have been in a positional struggle.

The total number of victims among the activists and police during clashes is estimated to be more than 200 people, including three protesters which have lost eyes and one who lost a hand.

‪ # YevroMaydan ‬ “Titutshky rushed small groups of people in the Franco / Khmelnitsky area”

Right now: Titushki are smashing cars and shop windows in Kiev. EuroMaidan and AutoMaidan activists are trying to stop them. Klitschko is personally there.
“GTX_UA Titushki turned onto Khmelnitsky, stand near a McDonald’s. From Klitschko they are fleeing like rabbits. )))))”

EU Euromaidan: People from internal forces realy think the strikers are guilty, that they can not return home to families. They think that people are paid, alcoholics, drug addicts, homeless or just crazy. And they cannot join us because they can be sent to prison.

Some reports that all people being sent to hospitals are then being sent to prison.

Spilno.TV had reporters on “Titushki Watch” all night, driving from road to road and counting and reporting on what they were doing or throwing or breaking and what arms they had, for example:

3:35am
-Titushki break windows of Buddha Bar, they were seen doing this and are being held by people
-have been shooting at the press, especially at the eyes and camera lenses
-on Hrushevskoho, attacked him (as Press) 5 or 6 times
-titushki are creating chaos all over Kyiv
-titushki are running up and breaking and beating cars, damaging them
-more reports that titushki are beating on cars all over
-on Zoloti Vorota titushki are beating cars
Alarm: Titushki are damaging cars on Khmelnytskoho-Franka

Oleg Tyagnibok: Near Golden Gate dispersed a group of titushok. It is evident that they are not from Kiev. They can’t orient themselves in the city.

Every day my fellow Russians and Belarusians, on meeting me in the hallway ask: “Who will win. You Ukrainians are not like us, you are a lot more idealized, you would sooner die than allow yourselves to be oppressed. I told him, yes we are, and then I think, but how many of us?

Special riot police and internal forces are torturing people. Vadym has been hit with a flash grenade. After he lost consciousness, he was dragged and severally beaten by riot police. After that he was passed on to the internal forces with the words: “He has been throwing grenades at you” (which according to Vadym is false). Internal forces beat up the man, undressed him, doused him in water (-9C 16F) and chased him to the barricades.

How to mock people: Berkut and Internal Forces .
Vadim was injured by flash-bang grenade. After he lost consciousness, he dragged himself to the Berkut forces. They beat him in turns. How tired – they handed him to the internal forces saying “He was throwing grenades at you” (although this was not true – Vadim informs). They were also willing to beat the guy. Then he was stripped, doused with water and driven into the barricade …

Kyiv, January 20 (New Region, Mikhail Ryabov) – In the center of Kiev “Berkut” fighters and internal troops launched a counterattack on protesters at a barricade near the entrance to the Dynamo stadium, where protesters were firing fireworks at law enforcement, firecrackers and Molotov mixture.

Law enforcers managed to break through the barricade, and then, according to witnesses, “began mush.” From the opposition they immediately began to carry the wounded opposition out.

Soon after the soldiers beat and threw a young man from the roof of the entrance to the stadium, and brutally and repeatedly beat another on the roof (one of the Berkut officers held his truncheon up to the crowd below after) – shelling the positions of law enforcement officers ensued.

This incident is shown on this video:
VIDEO: DAY 2

For some time the young man thrown from the roof was unconscious, but then recovered. Physicians ascertained he had a broken arm and leg.

During a counter attack, “Berkut” fighters managed to detain several oppositionists. Law enforcers have acted harshly, beating detainees in front of the eyes of the crowd. ” P. .. sy ! ” – Shouted the people on the square.
