As was previously reported, insurgents use ambulances to move personnel and transport arms and ammunition. Recently, military personnel who perform tasks within the ATO [anti-terrorist operation], detained a Peugeot brand ambulance at a checkpoint near the settlement of Tarany. The driver of the car did not comply with demands to stop the vehicle. The car was blocked by special means. In the car were 5 people (3 men and 2 women). During the inspection 2 tents, a Kalashnikov assault rifle AK-5.45, a pouch with two magazines and a large number of cartridges (in bulk) were found. Amongst the personal belongings were found three grenades (1 RGD-5 and 2 F-1). Among those detained is a Russian citizen, Kamille Valliullin, a resident of Ufa. In addition to this military equipment, the detainees were carrying video equipment (video recorder, camcorder, camera). Also found during the preliminary inspection of personal belongings was paraphernalia with symbols from the DNR [Donetsk People’s Republic] and other documents that are relevant to the DNR. Authorized officials are currently working with the detainees.
