[VoU note: these letters come in the aftermath of the fake letter from the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to Nadiya, delivered through the Ukrainian consulate in Rostov, Russia, and the ongoing smear campaign against Nadiya Savchenko’s lawyers, particularly Mark Feygin]

To the people,

Today, I heard about the whole situation with the pranksters around me. I haven’t laughed like that for a long time! :)))

It would have been more fun if these jokes were played genuinely, and not out of malice.

But pranks like this expose the meanness and underhandedness of pro-Putin Russian politics. Such “child’s play” is the handiwork of entire divisions of Russian special services. The guys there sure like to fuck around! :)))

My response, written on the form they offered me, clearly showed everyone that I have no intention of testing the loyalty of an honest, genuine person. I’m not going to take their rotten bait!

My reason for suspending my dry hunger strike I have honestly explained to the people. It is not related to any fake letters.

As for admitting my guilt – none of my attorneys ever suggested I do that. They support my stance and respect my decisions.

Thus, I am not going to refuse [representation by] Mark Feygin as my lawyer. He is under constant pressure, and is handling it with dignity. He is a reliable lawyer, and I trust him.

So let’s not pay any attention to half-witted pranks. We’ve had a laugh, that’s enough.

Let’s get back to working towards my freedom!

Mark, are you a fool!?

What kind of nonsense would it be – to abandon a professional attorney because of silly childish pranks?

We keep on working, Mark!

And don’t ask me stupid questions like this again.
