Operational data from Information Resistance:

Starting from 9-00 am yesterday (December 9), Ukrainian troops in the ATO zone are following the complete ceasefire order. Russian-terrorist troops continue firing – however, the intensity of fire decreased significantly over the last 24 hours.

In total, there have been over 15 instances of violation of the [most recent] ceasefire on the part of Russian-terrorist troops.

In particular, we received reports of shelling in the Debaltseve foothold (the majority of the shelling) and near Donetsk. The enemy primarily used small arms and mortars, firing from positions near Avdiivka, Marinka, Nikishyne, Chornukhyne, and other nearby towns. In the area of Pisky, the insurgents chaotically fired small arms at a forested area for a long period time. The purpose of that shooting is unknown (there were no Ukrainian military servicemen in that forest at the time).

Other forms of troop activity of the Russian-terrorist forces in the ATO zone remain high. We received reports of active movement of enemy units in the northern and northwestern districts of Donetsk, as the enemy maneuvers its forces and equipment along the front line. Armored vehicles and artillery systems are also on the move – 6 cannon artillery units have moved in the direction of the Petrivskyi District of the city.

Insurgent formations are completing their regrouping efforts in Donetsk, as well as in the area of Yasynuvata and Horlivka.

The situation remains tense in the Debaltseve foothold. Insurgent formations are moving around Nikishyne and Chornukhyne. The enemy is also conducting active maneuvers along the Bakhmut motorway, deploying additional forces and equipment to the front area near Toshkivka in particular, we have reports of up to 5 armored vehicles being moved there. The insurgents’ artillery firing units are changing position actively, and receiving supplies of ammunition.

In the area of Starobesheve, efforts continue to restore the combat capacity of the Russian-terrorist task group withdrawn from the line of contact with Ukrainian troops for resupply.

We received reports of a new insurgent unit near Komsomolske, armed with 6 units of armored equipment and approximately 10 motor vehicles.

Insurgent supply convoys are continuing their movement along the Snizhne – Donetsk motorway, and to the south of Donetsk (near Olenivka and Telmanove).
