Speaking on Russian TV, Alexander Prokhanov* shared his impressions from a trip to North Korea.
In a video posted to Censor.net, Prokhanov describes the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, led by the dictator Kim Jong-un, as “a mysterious country, closed off and slandered.”
“Above North Korea now hover thick clouds of lies, slander and misunderstanding. They [the West] demonise it, they prepare it for an attack, for extermination,” reports the horrified Prokhanov.
The prominent Russian blogger Rustem Adagamov [also known by the pseudonym Drugoi], had this to say regarding Prokhanov’s comments: “Prokhanov was taken to North Korea and now, choking with delight, he comments on what he saw. With him all is clear, but the fact this story is being shown on Russian TV, I think, says a lot.”
*Prokhanov is editor-in-chief of the influential, radically right wing Russian newspaper, Zavtra.
