Oleh Lyashko is a self-declared radical member of parliament. He has been active on Maidan in past weeks. Here is a recent status update:

“I found out how negotiations with Yanukovich ended in the night.

Those at the table included 3 ministers of internal affairs, Yanukovich, Klichko, Yatsenyuk, Tyahnybok, and Tihipko.

The following was agreed: In the next 48 hours, there will be a return to the constitution of 2004. Within 10 days, a coalition government will be formed. In December, presidential elections will be held.

But this is not everything for which people have rebelled. Here are our full demands:

Yanukovich must be put out of office and immediately put on trial for mass murders of Ukrainian citizens. Also, the resignation and criminal prosecution of Zakharchenko, the resignation of General Prosecutor Pshonka, the release of all political prisoners, including Yulia Tymoshenko, a change of the Central Elections Commission and Constitutional Court, and the presentation of a bill for the president’s impeachment. This is the minimum offer that will satisfy those who remain on Maidan.”
