Ex-Defense Minister Hrytsenko: Current Defense Minister involving the Army

Ex-Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko reports that Defense Minister Lebedyev has ordered troops from Dnipropetrovsk to Kyiv. Anatoliy Hrytsenko wrote about this in his Facebook post.

“The question “is the army with the people?” was asked by many, impatiently waiting for a reply. Here you are. Defense Minister of Ukraine Lebedyev has just ordered the 25th Dnipropetrovsk separate airborne brigade to go to Kyiv. Immediately!” Anatoliy Hrytsenko wrote in his post.

He said that the brigade “numbers 500 persons in full combat gear.” To protect who? From whom? This is a rhetorical question, for such an army and with such officers,” Anatoliy Hrytsenko added.

Later, Hrytsenko said that the Defense Minister, apart from the 25th Dnipropetrovsk separate airborne brigade, ordered the separate 79th airomobile regiment from Mykolaiv to go to Kyiv. “Also in full combat gear,” he added.

“Let me remind you, Azarov gave the Defense Ministry instructions to transfer the abovementioned brigade and regiment from the Armed Forces to the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ troops. Publicity in the press stopped this transfer; at that time they cared at least about formal legitimacy,” he claimed.

“Now these “little details” do not worry the ones in power – paratroopers are ordered to perform police tasks under the guidance of the Ministry of Interior Affairs by fact. Do they think they will rule forever?” Hrytsenko said.

This is very bad- always said this would be determined by Army- but hoped some pro Maidan unit would come to Kiev, and scare Yanuman into flying off to Belarus or Zimbabwae.
