A large number of cartridges from Kalashnikov guns or Simonov rifles have been found by Euromaidan activists (the Afghan vets) on the roof of the Ukrainian House after it was freed from Interior Ministry troops. They exhibited their findings to journalists from 5Kanal.

One activist pointed to the traces of small-arm bipods left in the snow. He drew attention to the fact that the barricades on Hrushevskoho Street are well visible and exposed to fire from the roof of Ukrainian House.

“It doesn’t matter any more, whether they shot at us or not. It’s impossible to assume that someone walked here and scattered this many cartridges from small military weapons, calibre 7.62 to 39,” noted the veteran of the Afghanistan war.
