Operational data from Information Resistance:
During the past 24 hours, Russian-terrorist troops attempted offensives on the Artemivsk direction; attacks were carried out on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Shchastya, Donetsk, on the Makiivka – Krasnohorivka stretch, and on the Avdiyvka – Pisky stretch.
In the seaside direction, the enemy is pulling reinforcements of manpower and military equipment to the advanced positions. In particular, a tactical group of Russian-terrorist forces concentrated north of Novoazovsk was reinforced with 4 tanks, 3 BTR-80, 1 BTR-82A, 2 BMP-2, and 4 army cargo trucks with manpower.
In several districts of Donetsk, the concealed transfer of artillery systems closer to advanced positions via a “rolling” method (in small quantities or unit-by-unit) has been observed. At the same time, artillery and mortars are carefully disguised at the positions; local access to position areas is denied.
Enhanced combat training of the units and divisions of the Russian-terrorist troops has been observed. This training is conducted mainly at the four equipped “training centers” in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which are controlled by terrorists. The trainer teams are mostly staffed with Russian citizens – both career officers and mercenaries who have considerable experience in the Russian Armed Forces, and have participated in hostilities.
To date, two army corps of Russian-terrorist troops (about 30-33,000 people) are actually deployed under the single centralized command of the ‘DNR’ and ‘LNR.’ Of these, only 15-20% have Ukrainian citizenship, the rest are Russian mercenaries.
At the same time, the leadership of terrorist organizations continues to engage in “mobilization activities.” So-called mass mobilization lists of employees are compiled at factories and mines on the occupied territories, under the pretext of preparation for a “Ukrainian troop offensive.”
After a series of conflicts and significant losses of personnel, following the so-called “cleansing activities,” leaders of the remaining “Cossack” troops on the occupied territory in Luhansk region agreed to the terms of the ‘LNR’ leadership with respect to their subordination to this terrorist organization. A decision has been made to include “Cossack” gangs in the “armed forces of the LNR” as separate “troops.”
