About our brothers who died yesterday…
Today we found out that they were all killed by bullets with a displaced center of gravity… Do you know what this means? It means that the exit wound is between 5-7 cm [1.9-2.7 inches] in diameter… and [its trajectory] is rarely straight…
I don’t know what else to add to this… Should I say that they are prohibited by international law? Or that earlier such bullets weren’t seen to be used by separatists? Why, then, have they started using them now? Are they feeling their imminent end? Or their impunity? Or are they already darting around their cage, like hunted rabid dogs..? You don’t have much time left…
This type of bullet is included on the list of prohibited ammunition, is prohibited by Article 22 of the Convention respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land, also this provision was reaffirmed in the Protocol Additional to the Geneva Conventions: “the right of Parties to the conflict to choose methods or means of warfare is not unlimited.” (Article 35)…
