According to Information Resistance operational data, last night terrorists in Sloviansk have repeatedly opened fire at the positions of Ukrainian special forces and the local TV tower.

The shelling was done by mortars.

The positions from which the terrorists were firing, were located in the vicinity of Artem Street and the “Lesnoy” city raion [district].

Thus, the pro-Russian terrorists have employed the tactics of using peaceful civilians as a shield–attacks take place from residential neighborhoods. This greatly complicates retaliatory actions by [Ukrainian] security forces.

According to operational data from Information Resistance, armed confrontation broke out near Kramatorsk between Ukrainian security forces and pro-Russian terrorists.

At about 1:00 pm EEST, 20 km [12 miles] from Kramatorsk in the village of Dmytrivka [Odesa Oblast/region], the unit of the 95th Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that is part of the ATO [anti-terrorist operation], got ambushed by insurgents.

According to preliminary data, the terrorists used grenade launchers to destroy a truck carrying ammunition, the fight ensured thereafter.

Simultaneously, 30-40 insurgents arrived on a bus from Kramatorsk as backup, while the airborne troops arrived on helicopters arrived for reinforcement.

As a result of the clashes there are killed and wounded servicemen amongst the security forces.

There is no information on casualties among the terrorists.
