Maidan Diary: As a citizen of Ukraine and an ethnic Russian, I condemn those involved.

Vlada Boute

My Kyiv is burning. There are dozens of murdered and wounded people. There is pain and blood.
And being a citizen of Ukraine and an ethnic Russian, I denounce this.

I condemn the president of my country for breaking the oath of allegiance to his people!

I condemn the government of my country, one of the most corrupt governments in the world, for unleashing the war against its own people!

I condemn them for drowning Ukraine in blood when they ordered to shoot peaceful demonstrators who came to the Verkhovna Rada [Parliament] to support the opposition demands in the morning of February 18, 2014.

The authorities gave the order, and blood was shed.

The power they use to destroy rights and freedoms of Ukrainian people was not obtained through the fair presidential or parliamentary elections. It was gained through manipulations, threats, bribes, and full-blown lies. They are not going to give up this power. Is there anyone who does not understand this yet?

Those in power in my country are used to lying and stealing with PERFECT IMPUNITY. Now they have started KILLING people hoping again to remain blameless! The authorities flooded my city with criminals, arming them against my people and provided them with guarantees of impunity. IT IS A CRIMINAL REGIME!!!

I am sure there is also someone behind these events who benefits from unleashing and extending the bloody confrontation in Ukraine. And this “someone” has slowly but methodically strained the tension not only within my country, but also in the relations between Ukraine and Russia. Just exactly how much would the openly rude statements by Sergey Glaziev during his stay in Ukraine and false “information” about Ukraine carried to the point of absurdity and poured onto the heads of viewers by Dmitry Kiselev cost…. Meanwhile, both of them (!!!) all of a sudden received high awards from the hands of the Russian president himself… What for? For what kind of services?! What purposes should this public and endless farce serve?!

Today, there is a war happening in the center of Europe, in ancient city of Kyiv…

AND IT IS NOT A CIVIL WAR!

IT IS A WAR DECLARED BY THE UKRAINIAN AUTHORITIES AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE, THE WAR THAT IS INSTIGATED BY THE SAME CORRUPT AND DECEITFUL RUSSIAN AUTHORITIES!

However, I would like to remind you of the words of another president, whose country is presently at a much higher stage of development. John Fitzgerald Kennedy said, “THOSE WHO MAKE PEACEFUL REVOLUTION IMPOSSIBLE WILL MAKE VIOLENT REVOLUTION INEVITABLE.”
