Rich Myers: I had to come back in because my CF card filled up. I now go back out
Maidan is on fire – the camp is under siege by government forces. APCs ram barricades, sending Maidan members flying off into the rocks behind. The base of the Berehynia Statue burns. My eyes sting of tear gas and my side hurts where the police landed a lucky shot with a large paving stone earlier today. I stink of gasoline.
I had to come back in because my CF card filled up. Here’s a picture I took a few minutes ago. Ukrainians will never forget this scouring. This night will burn in the memory of the country for generations. The tents where I met with so many people last week are ashes. I now go back out.
