One more Ukrainian activist from Lviv region died today

Today in one of Kyiv hospitals ROMAN SENYK, a Maidan activist, died after being severly injured during fights on Hrushevskoho St. on the 22nd of January. The news was announced by Iryna Seh, deputy and head of Lviv Regional Organization, “Svoboda.” “The doctors kept fighting for his life over several days, but his injuries were too severe. His lung was heavily injured, he had undergone several operations, his arm had to be amputated,” – the deputy stated.Roman Senyk was 45. He was from Yavoriv region, but during the last couple of years lived in the town of Turka.

He will be buried in Yavoriv region.On Friday, 24th January, more than 200 people donated their blood for Roman Senyk during the first four hours after the blood donation center was opened.On Thursday evening Euromaidan-SOS published the call for blood donation through the social networks for Roman Senyk, who had to have his arm amputated because of an injury received from a pump shotgun. Senyk had lost 3.5 litres of blood.
