Many of the migrants who came to Dnipropetrovsk oblast from Donbas cities occupied by mercenaries refuse to work and socially adapt in the region.
This was stated in interview to Hromadske.TV by the deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration Borys Filatov, reports Gordon.
“First and foremost there are issues with people who are coming from Slovyansk, Snizhne and Kramatorsk. They are very aggressive, they think everyone here owes them something, they don’t want to work. Though more or less adequate people are coming from Donbas. But the ones from there are a problem. At it also lies in the fact that single men are coming from there,” said Filatov.
According to the deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk OSA, there are also many people that support the separatists among the migrants. Besides, there is a problem with the legislative provision and organisation of the migrants’ everyday life.
“We are now sitting and thinking who to even order this process (of migrant adaptation in Dnipropetrovsk oblast) within the framework of the current legislation. Because they have no status, they are not refugees, but temporary migrants, citizens of Ukraine. It is impossible to force them to get their fingerprints taken, and most importantly, they don’t want to work,” complained Filatov.
He also emphasised the fact that street crimes have been growing in the region recently.
Earlier the President of Belarus Alexandr Lukashenko stated that the Republic of Belarus is ready to accept immigrants from Ukraine on its territory and provide them with shelter and employment.
