Yanukovych asks Putin to invade Ukraine

1620496_430194790417050_536916943_n Former President Viktor Yanukovych, who is hiding from Ukrainian law enforcement in Russia, asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to use his troops to “restore law” in Ukraine. The statement by Yanukovych, dated March 1, 2014, was read by Vitaliy Churkin, Russia’s UN representative, at the UN Security Council meeting Monday evening, March 3, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
