A young film director by the name of Cristian Jereghi made a movie about EuroMaidan. Today, he shared some shocking footage that was not included in his film Babylon’13. It shows how Berkut officers burned over 40 injured people alive, during the fire at the Trade Union House, on the night of the 18/19th February, 2014 – said ChernivtsiNews.com.
“I saw a guy who escaped from the 5th floor – charred holes in the jacket, skin burned by the molten plastic dripping from the ceiling. He kept repeating, ‘They locked up our guys on the upper floor and set fire… I saw it, I saw it, I saw it… Monsters… Fuckers… Scum… ‘. There were many wounded in the building. Berkut forces got in from the back, then, after the fire started, they left. Firefighters got to the scene only two hours and 15 minutes later,”- said Cristian Jereghi.
On some of the photographs above, you can see charred bodies with broken knees.
“This scene is still haunting me. The only thing I regret is that I didn’t have the courage to put the camera down and go upstairs, to help Maidan fighters who were dragging the fire hose. There was no pressure in the firehose. Water supply was cut off in the whole building!” he added.
To remind you – on the first floor of the Trade Union House, there was a EuroMaidan kitchen, organized for journalists and self-defense squadrom commanders; on the second floor, a press center; and the third floor was used as a medical station.

What the FUCK is amazing about this? Are you a fucking anarchist?
Amazing has been perverted from it’s original definition in recent years, usually used now as a substitute for awesome or as something positive. The classical definition of amazing is something that causes great surprise or wonder, something that is astonishing. I would absolutely say that this is incident is amazing, in the classical sense, but not in the sense that it is something good. It’s astonishing that people can behave in this way, senselessly killing their own brothers by burning them alive.
We don’t really know what Kalyna meant, but I’d hope that Kalyna didn’t mean that it was good.
