On Friday I followed Euromaidan forces on a march out of their camp to the prosecutor’s office, where they displayed their numbers. At times they bashed shields and created a deafening roar.

The number of bodies reached the thousands – this was a stunning display of power and sharp warning to Yanukovich that his opposition possesses military-grade discipline and a capability to react to attack – and no one is paying them.
