Nearly 30 activists can’t be located after police attacked AutoMaidan on the eve of January 23rd as Volodimir Yavorovsky, a member of parliament from Batkivschina party, stated during media briefing from National Opposition Headquarters.

According to UNIAN he pointed out: “No further information. Thirty people or so.”

Anatoliy Dyriv, a MP from Batkivschina party, stated that these people might be out of reach, detained or hospitalized.

“We can’t provide any definite information about their whereabouts”, said Anatoliy Dyriv.

To recap, on the eve of January 23rd Berkut have set traps (on Kriposnoy blvd, near hospital #17 and Institutskaya street) on AutoMaidan patrol in Kyiv. Berkut forces have destroyed cars and detained Automaidan activists.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Internal Affairs denied any Berkut attacks on Automaidan members saying instead that forces were attacked by activists.

“Young athletic men with bats vandalized, smashed cars, threw stones. Police arrested around 20 assaulters”, stated Ministry of Internal Affairs.
