Appeal of Yulia Tymoshenko to the Ukrainian nation:

Each blow of the “Berkut” baton on peaceful people at Maidan is a blow of the baton on the face of the whole Ukrainian nation. Do not let Yanukovych to make violence a rule of our life. I am appealing to every Ukrainian to rise!

No negotiations with the gang, no round tables with them. Only immediate resignation of Yanukovych and his circle.

I am also appealing to the leaders of the democratic world. Each blow of the “Berkut” baton on peaceful Ukrainians at Maidan is a blow on universal human values which you are trying to make the basis of human life.

I am begging you to act!

Stop the authoritarian regime in Ukraine by means of financial and visa sanctions, international anti-corruption investigations. Otherwise, freedom will be buried in Ukraine. Act!

Glory to Ukraine!
