The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported that they had uncovered in Kyiv a group of people who were trying to destabilize the situation by provoking clashes.

“The provocateurs totaling about 40 people, headed by a citizen of Ukraine, Serhiy R., had a criminal order to discredit peaceful public events in downtown Kyiv, namely at Independence Square and its vicinity,” said the SBU.
