Over February 20-25, a total of 180 Lenin monuments were demolished, which is more than during the whole period of independence.

Among the territorial units there are 114 cities, 51 townships and 41 villages having faced the “Leninfall” from December 8th, 2013 to February 25th, 2014. The oblasts having the largest amount of monuments demolished by local communities are Khmelnytsk (35), Cherkasy (20), Poltava (19), Vinnytsia (18), Kyiv (18), Zhytomyr (16) and Chernihiv (16) oblasts. Ukraine’s historical record high was February 22nd, which equals to 89 monuments. Derazhnyansk district of Khmelnytsk oblast has been the absolute leader in total amount of Lenin monuments demolished, which is 13.
