Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko believes that by now the most suitable demand to the European Union is not to implement sanctions against Viktor Yanukovych, but to try him in The Hague. Tymoshenko called for the creation of a delegation consisting of representatives from Maidan to be sent to tomorrow’s meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU member states, which will address the issue of sanctions against Ukrainian officials responsible for the use of force in Ukraine.
She said that even though sanctions against the president should still be pursued, they are already too late because they can no longer stop large-scale terror.
