Dear “Ukraine’s friends” at Brussels (and Washington). When Yanukovich and his cronies will be killing us during another circle of escalation, don’t you dare to express your fucking concerns. We’ve had enough of them. When the total death toll will rise up to thousands and our country will be divided, you will get, maybe not a second Syria, but a huge Transinistria at the border. I’m not appealing to your values, we all know that values doesn’t feel themselves good at the modern EU. Just because values are about courage and dignity, which any bureaucratic apparatus has none. But, for God’s sake, can you take some action in the name of your cynical interest? It’s not about our lives. It’s about your security. Do you really need a huge black hole of problems at your border? Refuges, Black Sea basin destabilization, problems with gas transit and nuclear plants security. Come on, guys. You have all the tools to help us get rid of Yanukovich. The prise will be much more lesser than it could be at the future. Act or fuck off.

The discussion:
Cliff van Dijk Dear Sergey, you are so right. i feel ashamed being powerless next to the bravery many of you show. it was the Dutch foreighn secretary to come to Maidan to show our support. what do you wish Europe to do? Bring in Nato forces and fight your president? unthinkable. what ‘tools’ do you mean? we individuals will put as much pressure on our governments to act accordingly. anyrhing to help you and avoid more misery for you, the people of the Ukraine. But i am afraid that you alone can dispose of your own government. you will have to do this yourselves… we support you as much we can and continue feeling ashamed of oir shortcomings. wishing you strength and victory, this is your frightened, loyal and unconditionally loving friend from Amsterdam, cliff…
Sergey Vysotsky Dear Cliff, 95% of our govt officials and oligarchs possess busineses and property at the EU. They spend their money, taken from our economy, at London and Monaco. So, will EU be glad when serial killers from Ukraine will walk the streets of its cityes? Yanukovick can be thrown away via parliment, which is controled by the main oligarchs. If the West will be firm in its position to impose sanctions and start an anti-corruption investigations, it would realy help us.
Cliff van Dijk yes, good advice. we can also put the oligargh’s bank accounts on hold. is there no law against corruption in ukraine itself? if you really think sanctions will be a good signal and not hurt the people, we will start the debate tomorrow.
Olena Grudnenko: To Cliff regarding Law against corruption in Ukraine. The police hire hundreds of criminals to hit, injure, to kidnap and to kill people. Do you really think that the officials who are a part of the corrupting system are going to undertake any anti corruption measures. And how many Ukrainians should die before people on West realise personal danger for themselves. Your police will not defend you, because it is not just prepared for such scenarios. West should localize the conflict. Thats it.
