Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv this week began its exam session with surprise. According to the decision of the State Inspection of Educational Institutions, special comission was present on almost every exam. Somewhere they just were sitting and watching. But very often the participants of the comission tried to influence lecturer’s decision about student’s mark and lower them. In the Institute of Journalism exam “Foreign journalism” was accompanied by questions like “Whose name was given to public transport” or “Please, translate this word from English”. Students are outraged and go to strike tomorrow. A lot of them decided to starve. According to official version, some students were afraid of the repression from the lectors who are against Maidan and that’s why they asked State Comission to visit exams and control. But students activists think, real goals of the comissions are the repressions of students who were Maidan activists.
